I have compiled a list of the Best MOBA Game from all platforms and listed them down in this video (in no particular order). These are all cinematics/ trailers from my list of the best MOBA games. Few of the older games in MOBA genre still dominates the MOBA list, but there are some new emerging games that are showing some great potential are currently doing well.
Some of the initial MOBA Games are still popular and maintain their position strong on my Best MOBA Games list. The games that still manage to remain on the best MOBA game list are Dota2, League of Legends, Smite which are all PC games except for the fact that SMITE can also be played on other platforms such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. These games don’t require any introduction so I won’t go into depth.
Heroes of the Storm 6:51
Another popular PC MOBA that makes my list of Best MOBA Games is Heroes of the Storm by Blizzard. The game includes heroes from other popular Blizzards games such as Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, and Overwatch. The game has basically a similar style of gameplay like the other initial MOBA games but with an introduction of themed and objective driven battleground. To make it short, if you loved any of heroes from blizzards multiverse, then there is something for you in this game.
Arena of Valor/ Honor of Kings 0:08
The Latest game on my list is currently a Mobile-based game “Arena of Valor” which is also known as Honor of Kings (In China). It was recently introduced in EU and NA. As per the latest news, Nintendo has also announced its partnership with Tencent (Developed and licensed the game). In May of 2017 AOV became the highest grossing mobile game in the world. Vain Glory 5:35
The next Mobile game which makes the list in my Best MOBA Games list is Vain Glory. It is available both on Android and IOS and is published by Super Evil Megacorp. The game was more focused on the 3v3 aspect of the game but now has recently announced a 5v5 map which will be revealed in December during the Vainglory 2017 World Championship event.
Paragon 2:17
Paragon is an action MOBA game that you play as a third person which is developed and published by Epic Games. It is a cross-platform game allowing PC Players and PS4 players to compete with each other. It takes the usual 5 v 5 mode approach like most MOBAs. The developers continuously are making the effort to improve the user experience based on their feedback. The maps are a little smaller compared to other MOBA games but verticality is the main difference when comparing it with SMITE. Due to all these reasons, Paragon makes the list of my Best MOBA Games.
Dark Eclipse 3:55
Dark Eclipse is one of the most anticipated MOBA on PlayStation. Its most unique feature is that it’s going to be a Virtual Reality MOBA and you will have motion control instead of using mouse and keyboard. You will be able to grab and drag things with your hands. Dark Eclipse may not have a 5v5 mode but will feature a 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 mode. Even though this game is yet to be released in Spring of 2018 but it would not be fair to not add it to my best MOBA games list.
